About This Opportunity
As a Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will work closely with a range of teams across the business with a goal to support compliance and meet all regulatory, customer and company requirements.
Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Implements, communicates, and drives understanding among production personnel regarding quality, food safety and compliance requirements
- Conduct routine audits, inspections and reviews as required
- Assist in maintain site HACCP Program, Quality Management System and Document Control System
- Liaises with staff to ensure that quality is maintained, reports at findings to management
- Sample & evaluate product quality to ensure a high standard is maintained
- Manage internal calibration program
- Manage product assessment and testing programme
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on issues found and carry out corrective Actions
- Coordinates daily QA tasks to assure objectives are met
- Conducts and reports on outcomes of internal audits to the management team
- Assist with external audits
- Assist with investigations of customer complaints
- Assist in site compliance requirements and validation / verification activities
About You
- Qualification in Food Science (or currently studying)
- Demonstrated QC experience (preferred)
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Demonstrates a good sense of priorities, structures workload effectively and delivers consistently good results
- Able to communicate effectively, employing tact and discretion and demonstrating a genuine desire to provide a good service
- Willingness to be hands on, work as part of a flexible team providing support or cover for colleagues
- Knowledge of GMP and HACCP standards and or have experience working in an FMCG/Manufacturing environment
- Ability to work alone and unsupervised
- Excellent communication & time management skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with regulatory authorities, fostering a constructive partnership
