Position Overview
To provide effective support to the Quality department by assisting with ensuring accurate assembly work instructions, appropriate documentation, and facilitating continuous quality improvements of Terex Crane's products to satisfy our customers' needs.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance to the Terex policy, procedures and work instructions, documented quality system, and all OH&S procedures and policies.
- Report ALL safety incidents immediately to your Team Leader / Manager.
- Maintain work instruction database.
- Create new and update all existing work instructions in a timely manner keeping within KPl's.
- Ensure all Work Instructions are conforming and compliant with Engineering and Quality standards.
- Carry out all NCI investigations in-line with 8D format standards.
- Ensure quarantine parts control is in line with the Quarantine process.
- Parts inspection process through performing inwards goods parts inspection as required, inspect all store and production parts as required and inspect and approve all reworked quarantine parts in-line with quarantine process.
- Provide Production technical advisory support as required.
- Attend daily Production meetings to coordinate all quality related items.
- Any other duties as directed including taking part in any training as required.
Experience and Qualifications
- Self-motivated and the ability to work as per instruction and with minimum supervision.
- Ability to communicate both written and orally.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Ability to read and write technical and procedures.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Basic knowledge on ERP systems.
- Actively take part in team group projects.
- To have own hand tools.
Experience in the following is preferred but not necessary:
- Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electrical, Mechanical.
- Crane and related machinery.
- Quality assurance awareness.
- Reporting of Faults, Hazards and Incidents.
Qualifications to perform the job include but are not limited to the following:
- Associated mechanical or trade background preferred but not essential.
- Dogman I Riggers ticket preferred.
