About the role:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join the Supply Chain & Quality Team in our National Support Office in Woolloomooloo at Hungry Jack's. The role will deal with many facets of the business to assist the QA Manager in supporting product quality, food safety, and the launching of new products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality cutting assessment checks of raw materials and generate reports
- Analyse and report supplier KPI quality performance
- Collaborate with suppliers on updating product specifications, packaging and processing documentation
- Monitor and process supplier complaints, ensuring suppliers action within specific timeframe and credits approved where required
- Assist in the investigation of customer complaints at the request of the Quality Manager and/or Customer Service and determine corrective and preventative actions
- Generate monthly quality and food safety reports
- Assist in the maintenance of internal quality management and HACCP systems, ensuring control of all food safety and quality documentation
- QA support on selected NPD projects
- Lead and develop the departments (SC and QA) quarterly newsletter
- Manage the SCQ manual
- Ensure suppliers comply with the Hungry Jack’s Policy and procedures, including the Code of Business Ethics and Conduct for Suppliers and the Hungry Jack’s Master Terms and Conditions of Supply
- Work with and support Supply Chain on ad hoc projects
About you:
- Tertiary qualification and relevant industry qualifications
- Has worked within a food manufacturing or QSR business
- Knowledge of HACCP standards and requirements, preferred
- Team player with natural ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
- Ability to maintain a professional approach at all times
- Efficiency on Microsoft Office and Outlook
