QUALITY ASSURANCE LEAD in Galston
Required Skill Set:
- Tertiary Degree
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Comprehensive knowledge of WH&S compliance, Quality Management, and HACCP principles with SQF.
- Can handle time management, ability to meet deadlines, and a high level of attention to detail.
- Mechanically Minded.
- Perform regular inspections of products, equipment, and facilities to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
- Monitor and improve production processes, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Work with production, operations, and maintenance teams to resolve and prevent quality issues in the future.
- Investigate customer complaints and internal issues, determine root causes, and take corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, including inspection reports and test results.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, food safety standards, and poultry processing best practices.
- Coordinate and ensure compliance during third-party audits and inspections.
- Lead training on quality and safe work practices.
- Update managers and QC staff on regulatory, company, and customer requirements.
- Manage and coordinate new product and process trials.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and promote quality excellence.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures specific to Game Farm’s needs.
- Execute quality strategies set by the Leadership Team.
