About The Role:
- Maintaining and managing an approved arrangement
- Thorough understanding of operational procedures within a meat establishment
- Managing and maintaining the support program, management review, training, pest control and calibration of equipment
- Investigating customer complaints and implementing appropriate corrective actions
- Developing, maintaining and managing the Our Cow HACCP program and documentation
- Quality control and documentation around product specs
- Temperature monitoring and checks
- Implementing and auditing of HACCP system against documented processes
- Assessing and refining HACCP systems with a view to continuous improvement
- Ensuring the HACCP documentation and monitoring is maintained accurately
- Ensuring that the company is well informed of all relevant legislation and any updates to the meat industry standards
- Maintaining up-to-date reference standard documents and lists
- Participating & overseeing product recalls
- Working with production department on developing corrective actions & implementation of these to improve processes
About You:
- Highly developed time management skills including prioritising tasks
- Intermediate computer literacy (particularly Microsoft Office)
- Highly developed verbal and written communication
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Company specifications and customer requirements
- Ausmeat Accreditations would be advantageous
- Demonstrated expertise in the understanding and implementation of Quality Assurance and HACCP Principles
- Demonstrated ability to identify critical aspects of production
- Knowledge of Slaughter floor, Boning Room and Cold Store processes would be an advantage
- Internal auditing experience and qualifications would be favourable received
