Job Description:The team & opportunity:Downer Utilities provides end-to-end service solutions across Power, Gas, Telecommunications, Water and Wastewater, Metering Services, Power, Transmission and Renewable constructions.We are seeking a
Quality Assurance Manager to join our dynamic team within the Power Projects business. Your objective in this position is to ensure the continual and efficient implementation and management of Downers Quality Systems, aligned with the Downer Standard.This is a full-time permanent position that will ideally be based in Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne however we are open to other locations in AU for the right candidate.
Our ideal candidate:You will have the ability to implement and drive change which will assist in achieving your purpose and targets within this role.
- 7-10 years in Quality Assurance, preferably in the Power/Utilities industry.
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, quality, or a relevant field.
- Working knowledge of ISO9001.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
