Quality Assurance Officer

  • Permanent Full-Time Position

About the role

As the Quality Assurance Officer you are integral to the success of V/Line's People & Integrity Group. You will ensure the effective management of Quality Assurance and compliance requirements for the RTO.

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Conducting internal compliance audits for VRQA and SVTS.
  • Assisting with the RTO re-registration process.
  • Verifying state-funded contracts.
  • Managing the transition of Training.gov packages.
  • Conducting assessment validations and moderation according to schedules.
  • Verifying and reviewing course and website materials.
  • Maintaining the Continuous Quality Improvement register.
  • Identifying and monitoring compliance risks, assisting in rectification.
  • Ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

About you

You are a strong problem solver who enjoys developing solutions. You able to effectively manage your time, balancing multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain)
  • Recent working experience with VRQA or ASQA re-registration (essential)
  • Previous experience managing compliance in an RTO
  • Strong knowledge of JobReady or VETtrak
  • Familiarity with Cloud Assess (desirable)
  • Demonstrated alignment to V/Line's values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership and human rights.

Remuneration for this position will be in line with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administrative Employees Agreement 2019.
