The purpose of this role is to administer Quality Assurance reviews and providing process stabilisation where appropriate. The role assists the team in engaging and presenting to internal customers, identifying trends, and providing insights and reports into performance against the strategic, operational, customer and performance objectives for EML Business units.
The position is responsible for delivering upon a comprehensive Quality Assurance program to support the delivery of scheme initiatives that impact of the scheme's sustainability, consistency, and customer service.
The role will focus on the completion of reviews and reporting in an efficient and timely manner, through successful engagement with the team and all stakeholders.
This will be a permanent, full time position based in the Melbourne office with the flexibility to work from home.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct Quality Assurance reviews in line with the Quality Assurance review program, and as needed, to ensure that regulatory, legislative, control and contract compliance measures are being achieved/performed as required.
- Engage with internal stakeholders and present findings and insights
- Assist in the preparation and execution of audits by external auditors. Assist with the provision of feedback of outcomes and actions.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation. Maintain awareness of industry developments and trends and respond effectively to changes.
- Plan for and support the completion of Quality Assurance reviews in line with the Quality Assurance review program, and as needed, to ensure that regulatory, legislative, control and contract compliance measures are being achieved/performed as required
- Ensure reviews undertaken by team are of a quality standard
ABOUT YOU
- Previous experience in a similar role, working within in in a fast-paced insurance environment
- Experience and skill in the use and management of PowerBI advantageous
- Strong experience in personal injury claims management including litigation, particularly significant injury claims
- Audit experience advantageous
- Competent in Microsoft office suite including MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Acrobat
- Excellent understanding of jurisdictional legislation and the associated regulations
- Sound knowledge of business unit performance measures
