Havenhall is a well established supplier of baby and maternity consumer products into pharmacy, grocery and baby store channels. We have a fabulous opportunity to utilise your expertise in Purchasing and imports.
The key purpose of this role is to maintain inventory levels, place orders with our overseas suppliers, manage the import and shipment process, and oversee and co-ordinate these movements with our warehouses.
The role:
- Analysis monitoring and forecasting stock and Inventory to ensure adequate stock levels, and correct balance between warehouses
- Facilitating inventory planning with marketing and sales teams
- Raising purchase orders and communicating with foreign suppliers, freight forwarders and clearing agents
- Calculating costings and arranging supply of adhoc items from offshore suppliers
- Inputting and tracking of all import shipments to ensure timely delivery to Australia, and maintaining records
- Planning cycle counts and overseeing integrity of inventory records
- Liaising with large customers, and investigating where required
- Supervising inventory claims and interaction with warehouses

- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Excel and computer skills - well developed
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Relevant tertiary qualifications preferred
