The Role Brighton BMW now have available an opportunity for an organised, experienced, and self-driven Quality Controller/Dealership Road tester to join the Aftersales team on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will join a team of dedicated professionals who strive to be the best in their field. Your major responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Oversee technicians in installing, testing, servicing, and repairing motor vehicles and related mechanical components Ensuring all services and repairs conform to Company and Manufacturer standards This position offers a very attractive salary package and is a rare opportunity to join a mature and well-run Company. About You: You will possess high levels of respect and integrity, whilst delivering excellence in customer service. Ideally you will demonstrate the following Mechanical qualification or equivalent overseas qualification in related trade or AQF III (including 2 years on the job training) or AQF IV Current Victorian Manual driver's licence Strong mechanical aptitude & knowledge – previous experience in a mechanical role at Master Technician level is desired but not essential. Experience with a Dealer Management System is desirable. Experience in a Team Leader role is desirable. Thorough understanding of workshop performance requirements including workshop loading & technician performance metrics is essential. Thorough understanding of customer requirements and ability to translate customer's requirements for the service department. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a sound working relationship with customers, employees, stakeholders, and business partners.
