The influential opportunity:
- Report into the CEO who respects and trusts his staff’s expertise
- Oversee and ensure governance, quality improvement, risk management, and OHS compliance for residential aged care and retirement living
- Develop, review, update and implement governance framework, structures, policies, and procedures to adhere to current and upcoming industry standards, legislation, accreditation and regulatory requirements
- Be part of the clinical governance committee and revamp and complete board reports, ensuring a transparent and comprehensive framework
- Support Managers with auditing requirements, gap analysis, continuous improvement initiatives and operational risk management
- Identify, assess and mitigate risks by leading investigations and establishing strategies to prevent recurrence
- Manage a Training Officer helping to identify education needs and implement programs
- Fantastic flexibility - potential to work full time hours in a 9 day fortnight and from home
- Influence the standard of care by being involved in strategic direction
- Avoid corporate bureaucracy and red tape – influential leadership role at a small provider
- Limited travel – all services are located in close proximity in Perth’s Northern suburbs

- $130k - $160k + super + salary packaging
- Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or other Allied Health discipline is essential
- An impressive track record in a Quality Manager role in aged care, community services or other health sector
- Excellent clinical knowledge and experience creating and writing board reports
- Analytically minded, solution oriented and results focused, with a demonstrated ability proactively creating innovative quality improvement initiatives that align operations with governing standards
- Supportive and collaborative leader who is self-motivated, objective and committed to achieving sustainable results
