We’re looking for Quality Manager to join our team on a permanent basis to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Yurika Quality Management System (QMS).
This position can be located in any of our offices across Queensland and is a Professional & Managerial Grade Three level position with salaries starting from $186,000 + 12.75% super based on a 10-day fortnight.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager -Commercial & Strategy, this is a strategic position aimed maintaining and improving the Quality Management Framework and that appropriate processes and procedures are imbedded, applied and can be audited against at every interval.

This is a collaborative position where you will work closely with a number of departments, internal and external stakeholders.

About You

Critical to your success in the role is your extensive understanding of the development and application of Quality Management Systems within the HV infrastructure industry.
In this role, you will find yourself working through a number of responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Working collaboratively across Yurika to lead the embedding of Quality Management System (QMS). This includes developing the Quality Management Framework appropriate for the Yurika business, while always ensuring compliance to ISO9001.
  • Lead, champion, and provide expert guidance on the Quality Management, Assurance and Control processes and tools to all the Yurika Project and Functional teams.
  • Ensure that specifications provided by clients have been correctly understood, scoped and delivered by Yurika projects, and project records (including Non-Conformance Reports) are provided for the client as appropriate.
  • Prepare and provide training to Yurika employees and contractors in the Yurika Quality Management Framework and monitor the status and effectiveness of the training. Leads the collaborative development of a Quality continuous improvement plan and deliver it in conjunction with teams across Yurika
  • Plan and conduct internal Quality audits.
  • Ensure Quality governance through establishing of Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Quality Reports (for projects and the wider business) to enable regular reporting to management, escalations as required, and continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Scope and undertake root cause investigations on Quality non-conformances and outcomes associated with results.
  • Collaborates effectively managing information and confidentiality requirements across Energy Queensland Limited in accordance with applicable ring-fencing parameters.
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to health, safety and environment and support a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, procedures and practices.

Essentials

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Performance, Governance or Auditing or another suitably aligned field.
  • ‘C’ class drivers licence is required for this role
