Position Summary:
Join our team as a Quality Manager reporting directly to the Production Manager, as the subject matter expert on product quality compliance and improvement, you will oversee the site Quality Management System, including writing, reviewing, and auditing procedures to ensure safety and optimal yield of compliant products. You will also manage quality-related data and generate reporting.
Organizational Relationship:
You will collaborate with various departments including Safety, Production, Green Mill/Log Yard, Dry Mill, Processing, Engineering, Operations, Commercial, and Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive improvement in quality culture, systems, and performance across the business.
- Manage sample testing and support production to budget/SOP.
- Contribute to integrated site business plans and drive process efficiencies.
- Ensure product compliance to standards and maintain quality tracking and reporting systems.
- Integrate data systems effectively and drive improvements to yield maximization.
Training, Skills, License, and Experience Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Quality and Assurance (Essential).
- 3+ years experience in manufacturing or similar industries.
- 3+ years in quality management or supervisor roles.
