Quality Manager

Our client provides high quality engineering design and construction services to the mining and mineral processing industries. 

They have an immediate requirement for an experienced Quality Manager to support the implementation of the QA/QC management system and support the quality and project handover teams for projects including a minerals processing project in remote Western Australia.  

Duties include:

• Develop measures to correct non-compliances and implement preventative actions
• Working with engineers and supervisors to ensure all ITPs, MDRs and IOMs are approved
• Verify that subcontractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and monitor subcontractor documentation submittals

Candidate background:

• Experience in heavy mining construction of process plants
• Working in an EPC or Design and Construct environment
• Qualification in Engineering (Degree/Diploma/Trade Qualifications)
• Detailed knowledge of QA principles and ability to apply them to a project management process
• Extensive working knowledge of ISO 9001

This permanent role is based in Perth and requires site visits every couple of weeks for 2-3 days for this initial project.
