About the Role:We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the St Vincents Network Sydney.The Quality Manager - Accreditation coordinates and manages preparation of accreditation under the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).This role is responsible for the coordination and management of accreditation preparation and providing coaching and understanding regarding accreditation, including; identification of gaps, quality improvement planning, dissemination of information, development of resources and training, upskilling managers and staff, and monitoring and evaluation of actions to comply with accreditation requirements against the National Standards across the Network.The role also develops, manages and coordinates all pre assessment documentation required prior to any National Standards assessment occurring.The role has a full understanding of the National Standards and supports the wider workforce when other formal accreditation programs undertaken within the organisation, for example, Trauma verification and the Aged Care Accreditation Program.Diversity and Inclusion at St Vincent's:

Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries.2. Tertiary health and post graduate management qualifications or equivalent, with substantial experience in quality, safety and risk management and accreditation programs within a complex health care environment.3. Highly developed understanding and extensive experience in the application of the National Standards (2nd Edition), Patient Safety programs, Clinical Risk identification, improvement methodologies, system thinking and accreditation systems management and remediation within the health care setting.4. High level analytical skills and experience in clinical case review methodologies including project management and change management skills.5. Highly developed verbal and written communication skills including strong relationship building capabilities and influencing skills with the ability to communicate, motivate, consult, and negotiate with diverse stakeholder groups including senior managers, clinicians and consumers.6. Well-developed skills and capacity for analyzing, synthesising and presenting data, and experience using data and clinical information to produce reports, briefs, submissions and presentations to drive improvement in patient safety and clinical quality.7. Demonstrated leadership capacity and strong organisational skills with the capability to work independently on multiple work tasks with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment, with an understanding of, and ability to work with, committees and a range of diverse stakeholders.8. Significant technical experience and capability in relevant Incident Management and Quality systems, Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel and basic statistical software.Applications close on 19 July 2024Shortlisting for this position will commence immediately.
