The Quality Manager, in collaboration with Operations Managers and their care teams, holds the responsibility for continually developing and implementing a quality framework that is both compliant and effective. This framework is designed for All Care Australia’s Child and Family Programs including Out of Home Care Residential Services, aiming to guarantee the delivery of high-quality care and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a quality framework that supports optimal outcomes in relation to quality assessment and monitoring, complaints resolution, education, and consumer engagement.
- Develop, implement, maintain and adhere to auditing processes / plan that includes physical inspection of residential care sites and desktop analysis of digital records pertaining to client care.
- Review service delivery practices, policies, and procedures to ensure residential services undergo continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic advice via informal and formal channels to the All Care Australia’s Management teams regarding legislative, contractual and compliance standards.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with relevant government agencies and stakeholders regarding legislative, contractual and compliance standards.
- Review report data, identify trends, barriers, and recommendations to ensure continuous quality improvement and risk management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Thorough understanding of Work Health and Safety, Child Protection and Data Protection legislation.
- Ability to manage and work within a professional relationship-based framework that embraces challenge and change, critical reflective practice and partnership including a focus on best practice with high support and high accountability.
- High level of verbal communication skills, including the ability and confidence to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- High level of written communication skills including the ability to author reports.
- High level of organisational and administration skills with proficiency in Client Information Systems, Microsoft Office and Teams.
- Ability to prioritise effectively and multi-task in a busy environment.

You will report to the General Manager
Essential Criteria:
- A tertiary qualification in human services or relevant field/ industry experience.
- Demonstrated a minimum of 5 years' experience in the child protection sector.
- Experience in leadership and management of a team in the child protection sector with an understanding of this environment's complexities.
- Detailed understanding of the Queensland child protection system and adherence to the child protection quality standards.
- A current Paid Blue Card that does not expire within three months (Or willing to obtain).
- Current and Valid LCS2 Check (Or willing to obtain).
- Current open driver's license.
