Your next opportunity
Our Queensland Laboratory network based in Whinstanes, is on the hunt for an experienced Quality Officer who is committed to safety and quality control. You will be required to utilise your NATA signatory knowledge to facilitate external and internal Laboratory audits.
Your day will involve:
Scheduling and arranging internal audits as well as gathering evidence and filing of close out documents into Boral reporting systems and site files
Scheduling and arranging samples for Internal proficiency programs and compilation of data to determine laboratory performance.
Registering Laboratories for External Proficiency programs and analyse/review results.
Liase with NATA during audits and assist with Root cause analyses post audit.
Document control of all worksheets etc. within the QLD Laboratories.
Participate in National Quality meetings to provide best practice across Boral Labs.
What are we looking for?
Cert IV in Laboratory Techniques
Tertiary qualification(s) in engineering / science / quality systems or similar (desirable)
Registered NATA signatory
Experience in supervising Quality activities and laboratory operations
Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills
Organisational skills with the ability to priorities competing deadlines.
Familiar with QEST Lab (desirable)
Sound understanding of AS ISO/IEC 17025
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
