Position:As a Site Quality Engineer specializing in BESS, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Duties and Responsibilities- Follow up and maintain the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) for the project.
- Maintain the Site Quality Assurance Documentation (SQAD) at the site as part of the ITP plan.
- Arrange quality inspections and related procedures for the site, including method statements and inspection records.
- Ensure compliance with prevailing standards, statutory regulations, and contractual requirements for the specific jobsite.
- Organize and maintain quality documentation and records at the site and in designated documentation systems.
- Report and address all non-conformities identified on the jobsite, collaborating with site team members and processing them through internal NC systems (DCM).
- Participate in handling contractual punch lists and open items lists for project delivery, as required.
- Communicate and provide support to subcontractors and vendors regarding non-conformities and quality issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including suppliers and engineering teams, to address quality-related concerns effectively.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (Electrical Engineers Preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering or quality assurance.
- Proficiency in managing inspection and test plans.
- Strong understanding of quality control processes and methodologies in construction and engineering projects.
- Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., CQE) is a plus.
