The Role:
Reporting under the direction of the Quality Manager and Site Quality Manager, this role shall:
- Accountable for ensuring that the project comply with Client, Manufacturer and QA/QC requirements,
- Ensure that QA/QC records and documentation is maintained accurately and completed by D&C contractor site team during the course of the project.
- Provide timely and accurate subject matter guidance on QA/QC opportunities and challenges and work with the projects team, client, contractors, and manufacturers for timely and effective resolution to any non-conformances and/or opportunities for improvement.
- Carry out site inspection and witness site testing carried out by D&C contractor, when required
- Report as required (daily, weekly, monthly) on project QA/QC requirements
- Monitor and maintain project QA/QC files and data
This position provides QA/QC support to project leadership and oversight for project operations and will coordinate with client, contractor, and QA/QC team as necessary.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor Degree - Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years QAQC position working within energy sector (highly desirable within renewable sector)?
- Proficient skillset with Microsoft Suite
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, Installation project quality management.?
- Analytical, logical thought process and meticulous attention to detail?
- Strong knowledge of mathematics, data analysis, and statistical methods.?
- Good communication, report writing, presentation and stakeholder management
- Lead / Internal auditor (desirable)?
