The opportunity
- Opportunity for an Underwriting professional, to diversify into quality assurance and training.
- Green fields role to create & build training modules for best practise in our distribution team.
- Develop training for our people from their early stages of their career journey.
- New created role, reporting to the Distribution Operations Manager. Hybrid working, happy to chat flexible.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Overall operational underwriting effectiveness across NZ Pacific (NZPAC)regions.
- Development and implementation of training, quality assurance (QA) processes, monitoring, and reporting.
- Creating training & facilitating the development of technical knowledge in NZPAC underwriting teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, embedding of proper and consistent work practices that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
- Providing governance guidance and ensure operational compliance.
To be successful you will demonstrate the following experience with:
- Insurance – particularly Underwriting & Product
- Developing training and career development programs
- Facilitating workshops
- Coaching for performance, mentoring programs, or people leadership
- Quality Assurance frameworks & audits
- Analysis of data, reporting & offering insights & recommendations
