Estimating and ongoing monitoring of project costs from pre-contract stage and throughout the lifecycle of the project/s
Assist with tendering; contract review, key risk parameters, programme/schedule review, input and ownership.
Review drawings and plans to estimate project costs and prepare detailed cost plans
Project health checks/controls, risk and opportunity management
Ongoing review of design changes and impact on costs; negotiation of variations
Head contract management/control and management of subcontract packages/scope
Process claims up/down chain and internal cost reporting.
Procurement schedule/ownership, assisting with procurement of materials, plan and equipment to deliver project works
Technical support to design coordination, monitor scope-gaps, non-conformance and quality review/input
ABOUT YOU
Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or other relevant discipline.
Proven project management and delivery skills, including budgeting, coordinating work priorities, cost control, stakeholder management, subcontractor management, documentation, statutory approvals, and leading project teams.
5+ years demonstrated experience in a quantity surveying role, ideally within the remediation sector
Prior experience working on façade and cladding project works
Client relationship management experience.
Sound ability in contract and project cost control management in the construction/engineering industry.
