From tube stock to super advanced trees, we offer an extensive range of stock with outstanding quality and competitive prices. Plantmark’s operations include one large-scale production nursery and seven Wholesale Trade Markets with sales and distribution in Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland. 

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Southern Operations Manager and working closely with the onsite Trade Market Nursery Manager, this role is responsible for achieving sales targets through the delivery of fast and accurate quotes, coordination of stock orders and timely dispatch of greenlife and allied products.  The role has become available due to an internal transfer.

Leading a team of five sales and dispatch specialists, the successful incumbent will ensure that customer and supplier relationships are nurtured, Plantmark service standards are maintained and sales targets are achieved. Managing of budgets, business planning, employee performance and safety standards are an integral part of the role.

The position is full time, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend watering support.

Essential attributes

The ideal candidate for this outstanding career opportunity will have a positive work ethic and a genuine enthusiasm for delivering exceptional business standards.  Confidence with leading a team to achieve customer experience and sales success is essential and a work history in horticulture would be advantageous.

You will have:

• Proven experience in customer service driven sales and building business partnerships.
• Practical understanding of coordinating sales orders and dispatch procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and manage a team to deliver results and standards.
• Excellent organisational skills with a commercial and business growth mindset.
• Collaborative communication style with strong written/verbal skills.
