GenesisCare now has an exciting opportunity for a Radiation Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis working across our clinics within Mater and North Shore hospital.
As a Radiation Therapist you are responsible for delivering efficient and effective radiotherapy treatment and/or planning activities of a high quality. This position is a clinical role that contributes to the delivery of efficient and effective radiotherapy treatment and/or planning activities.
Excellent remuneration available, annual salary of up to $110,576 + superannuation (dependant on experience).
More specifically, you will:
- Personally undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
- Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Centre and across the practice.
- Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
- Ensures that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy at an appropriate level (treatment, simulation and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
- Experience with Monaco Treatment Planning System.
- Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment.
- Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.
- Bachelor degree as relevant (Radiation Therapy).
- Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
