The North Coast Cancer Institute offers fantastic employment opportunities for Radiation Therapists to live and work in the gorgeous NSW North Coast.  Variable rosters, including the option of full time hours in a 4 day week, gives you the flexibility to get out and explore the region.  There is something for everyone from lush rainforests to glamourous beach towns with close proximity to South East QLD and Brisbane.

We’re a small team with experience in modern radiation therapy techniques. Our established clinical programme includes IMRT, VMAT, SABR/SBRT/SRT, SGRT & 4DCT and our image-based protocols are integral to our model of care.  In addition to our unit, Lismore has PET/CT and 3T MRI scanners, strong links with the University Centre of Rural Health and a longstanding partnership with radiation oncology services offered in Mid North Coast.

If you are:

• Eligible for general registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia as a Medical Radiation Practitioner – Radiation Therapist and eligible to hold a current EPA NSW Radiation User Licence.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work successfully in small teams.
• Have demonstrated experience with dual energy linear accelerators, IGRT, and experience with CT interfacing 3D treatment planning systems.
• Have an understanding of current Radiation Therapy, QA and radiation safety principles and practices and identify future developments in the profession.
