This is a fast paced and dynamic role! We schedule and run repairs and coordinate specialist reports.
While you may use your knowledge and skill to undertake some desktop tendering, this is primarily a coordinator role.
Please note: This is an office based role, not site based.
The role:
- You will work alongside an established team of Supervisors and Coordinators
- You will need a sound level of IT experience as you will need to utilise Outlook, Microsoft Excel, convert docs to PDFs and upload these to our system
- You will use six computer screens to navigate our custom built state of the art repair management system after role specific training that will take approximately 2-4 weeks depending on your previous experience
- Liaise with customers and trades over the phone regarding repairs therefore customer service is a large part of this role.
- Review reports for insurers requiring a keen eye for detail and a willingness to speak to trades to ensure they have clearly communicated their observations and actions onsite in written and visual form (via photos)
- Liaise with trades and coordinate repairs
- Review reports and pass them to our Submissions Team for uploading into our Client's systems
- Use your technical knowledge to achieve better and more effective methods of repair
- Insurance building knowledge not essential, a carpentry or trade back ground is preferred with licenses
