The Role

We are seeking applications for permanent full time Raw Materials Assembly Operator at our Meals Factory, located at Berkeley Vale. At our Meals Factory we manufacture products from our popular Vegie Delights range.

The roster is Monday - Thursday 6am - 2pm and Friday 6am - 12 noon. No weekend shifts required.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Operation of mixing machines
• Assess quality of Raw Materials before use and follow correct allergen control processes.
• Filling out relevant documentation for all materials used.
• Weigh ingredients; accurate identification of products and weight as per recipe.
• Monitor, identify and report any issues with processes or equipment.
• Applying basic stock rotation principles; first in, first out.
• General cleaning of the work area.
• Use of walker stacker to move product.

The Person

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Positive, can do attitude!
• Experience in a food or production environment is advantageous but not essential. 
• This is a great entry level role for someone with limited workplace experience, but is keen to learn new skills.
• Ability to communicate well and work together as part of a team is essential.
• Awareness of the importance of workplace safety processes. 
• Ability to repetitively lift 15kgs of materials
