The Opportunity
CSR Interior Systems is seeking a dynamic and experienced Raw Materials Manager to join our team at our Wetherill Park, NSW location.
As a Raw Materials Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and exceeding business targets. Join us and make a significant impact on our success!
Duties & Responsibilities:
Schedule Production: Coordinate plant schedules for the NSW Gyprock factory to meet delivery deadlines.
Ensure Material Availability: Ensure all necessary materials are available for efficient production.
Participate in IBP Meetings: Engage in monthly and weekly IBP meetings to improve processes.
Manage Supply Chain: Identify and address supply chain issues promptly.
Implement SAP Initiatives: Implement SAP initiatives for enhanced materials management.
Procurement and Scheduling: Procure materials according to S&OP model requirements.
Cost-Effective Procurement: Negotiate cost-effective material procurement without compromising quality.
Product and Process Development: Contribute to new product and process development.
SAP Super User: Utilize SAP knowledge to support operational excellence.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and conduct risk assessments for materials.
About You
- Proven experience as a Materials Manager or in a similar role. Experience in the manufacturing industry is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of materials management principles, including procurement, scheduling, and supply chain management
- Proficiency in SAP and other relevant materials management software is desirable..
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- High attention to details and ability to juggle multiple task
- Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
