AddressBased in Western Sydney, our client is a well-known ‘ready-to-eat’ meal manufacturer selling to all major retailers across Australia. The R&D technologist will develop and implement new and optimised products, processes and packaging.
Responsibilities include:
- Development and implementation of new products, processes and packaging
- Project management from initiation through to completion
- Running factory trials accurately and to production schedule
- Administration and data recording of all trial information
- Liaise with members of various departments
- Degree qualifications in Food Science or equivalent essential
- Recent experience in a product development role with ‘ready-to-eat’ meals and meat products
- Proven understanding of all legislative requirements required for labelling and products
- Creative and ability to think outside the box combined with a positive, driven and determined personality
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment
- Liaise and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
