Rear Loader Operator - Heavy Rigid Hr Truck Driver (Council)

• $ 35.71 hourly rate + Super
• Casual (Potential for extension or go to Perm)
• Full time hours (Monday – Friday 7am-3:30pm)
• Work Location: Ivanhoe
• Start as early as March 2024

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• To perform tasks that are undertaken by the Cleansing Unit as required.
• To inspect, report, clean, and unblock pits and drains including operation of mechanical boring and flushing equipment.
• To operate and maintain drainage maintenance vehicles and equipment.
• To assist with the transfer of waste to disposal sites.
• To provide direction, on-the-job training, and advice on safe working practices to Cleansing staff as required.
• Conduct daily operator maintenance on trucks and mobile plants as required.
• To be available for any emergency works and possibly be available for the After-hours duty officer roster.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Experience in concreting and asphalting.
• Experience in operating a 1.7t excavator, heavy combination vehicles, front end loader/backhoes and forklifts, light hydraulic crane
• HR Driving Licence (with expiry date)
• Forklift Licence
