We are seeking a dedicated Receptionist/Admin and Student Support Team Member to join our vibrant vocational college located in North Sydney.
Role Overview:
As a Receptionist/Admin and Student Support Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our college's administrative functions. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Greeting visitors and handling inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
- Managing incoming phone calls and directing them to the appropriate departments.
- Providing assistance and support to students with inquiries, both over the phone and in-person.
-Data entry and application processing
-Assisting with invoicing/basic bookkeeping (XERO)
- Resolving customer inquiries efficiently and effectively, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a positive and supportive team environment.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Hold PR/Citizenship and be able to work 38 hours per week
- Previous experience in general administration and customer service roles
- Experience/knowledge of VET college operations is an advantage but not essential
- Proficiency in handling phone calls and managing inquiries
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to resolve customer inquiries promptly and effectively, both over the phone and face-to-face
- Excellent teamwork skills, with a willingness to collaborate and support colleagues
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate IT skills and experience with Google Drive; Google docs; G-Mail and associated apps

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 8.45 - 4.45), offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive educational environment in our North Sydney campus.
