Abergeldie is a locally owned contractor with close to 30 years’ industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors. Projects include dams, bridges, tunnels, water and wastewater treatment process facilities, rail infrastructure, mining infrastructure, electrical substations, marine works and pipeline rehabilitation: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities.
About the opportunityWe are currently looking for a talented and experienced Receptionist to join our team in Regents Park. Day to day you will;
- Answer telephones in a professional, friendly and efficient manner.
- Welcome and assist visitors.
- Manage boardroom and meeting room calendars.
- Organise catering for meetings and functions as required.
- Ensure the office environment including reception, boardroom, meeting rooms, stationary room and kitchen are always clean and tidy.
- Manage office supplies.
- Coordinate courier bookings.
- Assist in coordinating company events (morning teas, team BBQ’s etc)
- Coordinate and maintain seating allocations and seating plans, contact lists, office space organisation, and logistics for new staff.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and office improvements.
- Provide general administrative assistance to facilitate the office's seamless operation.
This is a permanent full-time role based in Regents Park. Hours are 8.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.
What you’ll bring to the teamThe perfect fit for this role will be either be an experienced Receptionist or Administrator looking for a change or someone new to the industry who is keen to build a career in administration The ideal candidate will have a positive and pro-active approach and a willingness to learn coupled with excellent attention to detail and working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite.
