An exciting opportunity has become available for a casual Front Office Receptionist who strives in providing excellent customer service, building rapport and is looking to grow their career in the Hospitality Industry.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and processing reservations, checking in/out guests
- Meeting and greeting all guests and answering the telephone
- Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery through the use of feedback
- Check the online reviews and social media page on a daily base,
- Identifying and recommending changes to improve business and operating efficiencies
- Providing back-up support to other departments as required.
- Enter all necessary data in the computer system and be able to balance at the end of a shift
- Undertaking general clerical & administrative duties.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
- A Passion for customer service
- Minimum 12 months previous experience in a 4-5 star property
- Experience using a reservation System
- Well developed technical and admin skills including advanced computer literacy ( Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
- The ability to work effectively in a team as well as individually and under pressure
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Excellent attention to detail
- Have professional presentation grooming
- Ability to be flexible with shifts. The position is for approx. 25 hours per week and may include weekend/s days.
