RECEPTIONIST/ CHIROPRACTIC ASSISTANT
Bremer Chiropractic is an established and busy practice near the center of Ipswich. We are looking for an experienced and exceptional Receptionist/Chiropractic Assistant, to join our team on a Part-time basis.
You would become part of a valuable team, responsible for managing the daily reception and administration tasks of the clinic.
Role and Responsibility
- Greeting all visitors and clients of the business with a warm and friendly manner.
- Scheduling patient appointments.
- Maintaining good patient flow.
- Front desk reception duties including answering and making telephones calls, emails, and other correspondence.
- Opening and closing procedures.
- Cash handling and balancing register.
- Processing simple client requests as required.
- Booking couriers, building maintenance, coordinating deliveries.
- Processing payment claims such as Medicare, EPC, HICAPS, and DVA etc.
- Maintaining appearance of front office, clinic, and kitchen area.
- Assist the chiropractors with room set up and other clinic duties as required.
- Assist with training of new staff if required.
- Other ad hoc administration as required.
- Reporting to the Reception Team Leader
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Must be available to work a Tuesday to Saturday roster.
- Excellent customer service skills and a can-do attitude.
- Professional self-presentation.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Able to work in a team environment and independently.
- Adaptable and able to constructively approach dilemmas.
- Attention to detail.
Desirable
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite and systems.
- Experience managing diaries and strong organisational skills.
- Experience in an allied health setting
