Job Description: Our client seeks a proactive and personable Senior Gym Receptionist to oversee their reception team and ensure all front desk operations run smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to creating a welcoming atmosphere for all their members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the reception area, ensuring a high level of hospitality and service.
- Train, supervise, and support front desk staff.
- Schedule staff shifts and manage time-off requests.
- Handle membership inquiries, sign-ups, and renewals.
- Resolve member complaints with a solutions-focused approach.
- Maintain an organized, clean front desk and lobby area.
- Assist with the promotion and administration of gym events and classes.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure member satisfaction.
- Manage administrative tasks such as filing, managing records, and processing payments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service role (3+ years preferred).
- Strong leadership skills and experience in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office) and gym management software.
- Passion for fitness and health.
