Full job description:
Our wonderful team of clinicians are passionate, motivated and positive, and provide best practice care for each and every patient (and usually most of their family).
As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly person with exceptional organisational skills and strong customer focus to join our team.
The Role:
This position will be the first point of contact for our practice and therefore requires strong customer service skills.
We are looking for someone with outstanding administration, communication and reception skills. We value compassion, friendliness and enthusiasm as equally as important as the above skills. The ideal candidate will:
- have previous experience in providing exceptional client service and building ongoing relationships within a reception environment

- have experience in appointment scheduling and management with strong computer literacy skills
- prioritise work and able to work autonomously
- be well presented, punctual and are flexible in working hours
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Managing the phones and emails
- Welcoming clients and families to the practice
- Managing patient bookings
- Organising and confirming funding
- Managing & processing all referrals (Medicare/NDIS/private)
- Taking payment, sending invoices and issuing receipts
- Collaborating with the clinical team and admin team
- Formatting and sending patient correspondence
- Ordering stock required for the clinic and therapists
- Contributing to the presentation of the clinic
- Liaise with referrers & medical professionals
- Contributing to improving systems & processes of the clinic
- Performing other duties as required
Desired experience & attributes:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in an allied health practice
- Experience using Cliniko Practice Management Software desirable
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Ability to problem solve, multitask and prioritise clinic administrative tasks
- Skills in social media/marketing are desirable
