We have an opportunity for a dedicated Receptionist to join the WOTSO team based at our vibrant Pyrmont space! This isn't your typical Receptionist job - it's a chance to get creative through organising our community events, covering the reception, completing admin tasks and interacting with our members.
We are looking for someone who is efficient, organised, and bubbly to cover the reception and support the team in creating an exceptional experience for our members. This is an exciting opportunity to get started in a company with training provided, ongoing learning and potential for growth as our WOTSO spaces expand.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage a busy reception and provide a warm welcome to everyone using our space
- Interact with members and assist with requests
- Onboard new members
- Answer calls and enquiries including occasional 1800 calls and direct to relevant site
- Coordinate access for visitors, members and contractors
- Keep reception and entrance neat and tidy
- Organise mail and parcels
- Direct visitors to meeting rooms or communal waiting areas
- Respond to member feedback and complaints and report to space leader
- Order event and meeting room catering
- Occasional errand running
- Printer set up for WOTSO members
- Schedule meeting room bookings
- Coordinate workspace tours and appointments
- Assist with workspace & grocery orders according to stock levels
- Site Instagram posting
- Assist with creating newsletters and event posters using Canva
- Assist with member tours as directed by Space Leader
- Daily space set up and pack down when required
- Set up and pack down of meeting room and event bookings
- Assist with the coordination of community events held in our space
What we would like from you:
- Demonstrate previous customer service or reception experience
- Communicate effectively, both written and verbal
- Have a hands on approach to tasks
- Occasional travel to our other spaces in Sydney may be required in the onboarding period for training and to meet our other team members
- Be comfortable working autonomously at reception
