We're currently recruiting for a replacement position with the current encumbant being promoted into a new exciting role giving way for someone new to come onboard.

This business works in the STEM field creating and building innovative solutions for organisations all over the world. They have multiple offices in QLD and more coming soon with big growth plans scheduled for this year and next. So far the finance and admin team is small and close knit but with multiple roles being around the corner there's a big focus on bringing in people with a good work ethic who want to get stuck in but also climb in their careers.
The role:
This role is a combination of Reception and Admin Support working closely with the finance and admin team on site. As the face of the business any given day, there's a huge emphasis on finding someone with the right energy, who is happy to take on different tasks, conversations and duties.
*Some of whats expected*
1. Reception:
- Greeting visitors at the front desk and welcoming, directing and announcing them
- Address queries from visitors, clients, and employees in a professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of visitor logs, appointments, and other relevant info.
- Provide information about the organisation's products, services, and policies where needed
- Answer, screen and transfer calls to appropriate individuals, take messages and follow up with the respective individuals to ensure its addressed.
- Build a rapport with a wide range of stakeholders within the business as a fundamental “glue” in different verticals.
2. Admin Support:
- Assist with data entry, document preparation, and other admin tasks.
- Update and maintain all client documentation within the appropriate systems.
- Coordinate office supplies and ensure inventory levels are maintained within the team
- Receive letters | packages and distribute them appropriately.
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings
- Coordinate meeting logistics, including room setup, catering arrangements, and audiovisual equipment.
- Assist in organising social events for the office, finding and booking venues, entertainment, and guest catering.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
What we're looking for in applicants:
- We're looking for 1-3 years experience in a similiar role working across administration and similiar duties.
- Someone who is professional and presents well with a warm welcoming demeanour
- Detail orientated
- Strong computer skills
- Any experience working on AP or other base financial admin functions is a bonus
Role details:
- This is an on-site permanent role
- Salary is between $50-$65k + Super (depending on experience)
- Location: Stapytlon, QLD.
- Full working rights required.
