Our approach is customer-centric, ensuring we understand each client's unique needs to deliver effective solutions complemented by outstanding, timely customer service. Our commitment extends beyond mere solutions; we aim to build lasting relationships and ensure seamless IT experiences for all our clients.
Essential Soft Skills
We're seeking a receptionist/administrative assistant to be the new shining star of our IT crew. We’re looking for someone who is basically the physical embodiment of enthusiasm-meets-professionalism, and will:
- Exhibit fantastic customer service skills in all forms of communication: in-person, over the phone, and via email.
- Possess the ability to distil moderately-complex technical concepts into clear, understandable language suitable for any audience.
- Maintain a friendly, approachable demeanour, always ready to assist and guide.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, prioritizing and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate effectively within a team while also thriving in autonomous tasks.
- Demonstrate the humility and maturity required to raise their hand when they need further guidance.
Key Responsibilities
You'll be the warm and welcoming face of our company, so you’ll need to work your magic and charm our clients while simultaneously doing your part as the administrative backbone of our operations. This role involves a mix of reception duties alongside administrative tasks, so ideally you will:
- Greet clients and visitors with enthusiasm, warmth, and professionalism - creating a positive and lasting first impression of our company.
- Answer incoming calls, user-generated tickets, and emails, and directing inquiries to the appropriate department as required.
- Create and update job tickets for incoming repair requests, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
- Maintain meticulous records of outbound and internal communications, orders, and services rendered.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, basic invoicing, and document preparation.
Essential Experience
Are you that somewhat tech-savvy person your friends and family call whenever they need help printing an email or resetting a Netflix password? We’re on the hunt for someone who has:
- At least two years of experience in a receptionist or administrative assistant role.
- Exceptionally strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Teams.
- Basic but strong IT skills compared to the average person.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Benefits
Life is too short not to love where you work. We’re offering a competitive salary that reflects your skills and experience. It’s a supportive, friendly work atmosphere that encourages work-life balance and lots of laughs (if we do say so ourselves).
How to Apply
We’re keen as a bean to hear from you! Submit your resume and a cover letter highlighting your relevant experience and unique skillset, while demonstrating your client-winning charisma and personality.
