We are currently seeking a Receptionist to join our Customer Care Department
We are looking for a compassionate, team player with a professional manner, a strong work ethic and high emotional intelligence to join our already amazing Customer Care Team. The position will include a rotating roster with availability required between 7am – 6pm Monday – Friday and one in every four weekends, with the availability of additional shifts if desired.

Job duties include
- Providing outstanding customer service to all patients and clients
- Phone and email enquiries from clients and referring vet clinics.
- Clear, concise and professional communication with clinic Vets.
- Appointment scheduling of consults, follow up visits and procedures over all departments.
- Supporting long distance clients with travel arrangements and appointments.
- Ensure patient plans, consent form & deposits are up-to-date daily.
- Handling of cash & Eftpos.
- Insurance enquires.
- GapOnly claims & Vetpay contracts.
About You:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Warm and Friendly with the ability to build positive rapport quickly
- Highly organised with good time management and work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Clear and effective communicator in extreme situations with empathy, grounding and calmness
- Ability to multitask whilst maintaining attention to detail
Desirable Attributes
- Previous Animal/Veterinary/Medical industry experience
- Previous reception or admin experience
- Knowledge of PiMs, Ezyvet but not essential
