Monaro Medical Practice is built on a founding purpose to provide a high standard of medical care to our valued patients from our local rural community and visiting from out of town.
We are currently looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist for our new Practice in Cooma on a casual basis with option to turn into full-time.
Responsibilities
- Front desk reception - answering phones, making appointments, processing claims and payments
- Scanning and updating all patient related correspondence and results
- All general reception, administrative and medical support duties as required
- Provide ongoing support to GP and practice nurses as required
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Strong Customer Service skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
- First Aid
- Working with Children's Check
- National Criminal Record Check
Remuneration will be based on level of skill set and experience in accordance with the Health Professionals and Support Service Award MA000027.
