The owner is involved in the business on a day-to-day basis, driving the business forward with passion, a genuine approach and a "can do" attitude applied to all dealings with customers, trades and our team.
Overview:
We are looking for an honest, reliable and proactive individual to handle various administrative duties, calls and support tasks in a small, but busy office environment. You will work alongside our Office Manager while supporting the Business Owner and Trade Sales team.

You will be the welcoming face of our company, embodying professionalism, and efficiency. As a receptionist, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, utilise both your interpersonal skills and adaptability to ensure seamless operations and exceptional customer experience.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls, take messages, transfer required calls and provide prompt assistance.
- Provide Executive and PA to business owner, as needed.
- Thrive in both independent work and collaborative team environments.
- Perform ad hoc administrative duties.
- Welcome suppliers and customers professionally.
- Accurate data entry and maintain electronic filing systems.
- Oversee office supplies inventory and facilitate ordering.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in reception or administrative roles.
- Previous personal assistant experience will be highly regarded.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft word, Excel and Teams.
- Familiarity with modern office procedures, including telephone communication, record keeping and document formatting.
- Strong Customer Service orientation with outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task effectively and prioritise tasks.
- Highly developed organisational skills and the self-motivation to work autonomously.
- Proactive and can-do attitude towards workload.
- Attention to detail and adept at managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Haves:
- Previous experience in the building and construction industry preferred.
- Experience with Hike POS system, Eftpos machines is advantageous.
- Background in a similar or related industry.
