My Cosmetic Clinic is in the process of expansion and there is an excellent opportunity for a Receptionist to grow with us in our Wollongong clinic and join our team on a Casual basis.
The position:
This position is predominantly based at our Wollongong Clinic, However, on occasion, we may need you to provide shift coverage that may be either for the morning or the afternoon with the flexibility.
Responsibilities will involve but are not limited to answering telephone calls on a busy switchboard, making and confirming appointments, attending to patient enquiries and processing payments, entering patient details into medical software and other general administrative support.
Applicants must have willingness to learn with an enthusiastic and friendly disposition and be able to work well both as a team member and autonomously. Impeccable listening skills, as well as a highly polished and authentic customer service ethic are essential, along with excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to remain calm and work effectively while under pressure.
The role:
- Manage a busy switchboard
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Data entry, updating and creating patient files – computer skills are a must...!
- Scheduling patient appointments including processing transactions
- Meeting and greeting patients building rapport and relationships
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
- Managing patient records confidentiality
- Ensuring the daily clinic runs smoothly
- Minimum 20 hours per week. Applicant must be flexible with office hours 9am-5pm, some later finishes and weekends, and be willing to cover holiday leave and sick leave for other team members
The ideal candidate:
- Is an experienced receptionist with exceptional telephone skills
- Can work under pressure
- Holds strong written and verbal communication skills
- Will have a friendly disposition
- A positive and happy personality and takes pride in their personal appearance
- Enjoy working in a busy and engaging work environment whilst being proactive
- Training will be provided however, Cliniko software experience is desirable
- Will have experience and knowledge of the Cosmetic industry
