ACT Law Firm of the Year, 2023 Parker Coles Curtis is a growing, female-led, dedicated Family Law practice. We commenced with four lawyers in September 2020 and now have 27 people (11 lawyers), and we are looking for more great people to join our dynamic team.
Role Summary
In this role, you will provide administrative support for directors, solicitors, and support staff within the firm and coordinate all incoming and outgoing communications for the firm.
You will also oversee email correspondence and assist in filing and documenting procedures and data organisation.
This role involves face-to-face interactions, such as greeting clients and visitors and directing them to the conference room or staff member’s office. You will also undertake additional administrative duties, like answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, taking payments, checking post-delivery, and ensuring supplies are ordered.
You are also responsible for catering, kitchen, and office appearance.

Requirements
You must have the following skills and experience:
- Five years in an office administrative role in a fast-paced environment or
- Three years or greater in a Reception role
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially high-volume emails
- Have demonstrated ability to learn new technology, systems and processes
Highly desirable - extra points if you have,
- Legal administration and Actionstep experience
- Administration or reception experience in private enterprise
- Fast typing speeds and good document management skill
