Receptionist

Noranda Chiropractic Centre (www.norandachiropractic.com.au) is on the search for a Receptionist (2 days a week, approx 16 hours) to commence work by May 2024.

Your role will be to provide a positive impression as the first point of contact for our clients and help oversee the day-to-day running of our clinic.

We are a well-established, progressive Chiropractic clinic that has a focus on helping our clients who are looking for natural, conservative options to manage their musculo-skeletal conditions.

We are looking for someone with the following qualities:

• Friendly, outgoing and a real people person
• Dedicated and motivated to assist in the continued success of the practice
• Excellent telephone, customer service and general communication skills
• Great organisational and management skills
• Flexibility to work evenings (until 6.30pm) 
• Competence in social media
• Efficient booking and computer skills, preferably with Cliniko
• Has a genuine desire to help people

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Greet and welcome patients with a warm and professional demeanour
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic's calendar
• Process patient payments (EFTPOS/HICAPS)
• Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
• Ensure the waiting area is clean and comfortable for patients
• Collaborate with the chiropractic team to ensure efficient patient flow
• Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information about our services
• Follow clinic protocols and maintain patient confidentiality
• End of shift reconciliation.
• Managing the clinic’s marketing efforts

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• Proficient in using computer systems and office software
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
