This claw-some role will give you the opportunity to showcase your exemplary customer care skills while being paws-itively organised, empathetic, and compassionate. This veterinary team is fur-ociously passionate about cats and their well-being. Dedicated to providing optimal health care for their whiskered patients, this clinic is designed specifically to cater to cats' unique needs with feline behaviour in mind, with every interaction and decision made centred around what is best for their feline patient. This role will be located in Prahran initially, however, from mid-August 2024 this team will be transitioning to a brand-new purpose-built state of the art facility to enhance the range of services they provide their feline clients, located in Caulfield.

- Being a reception role, you will be required to sit or stand for long periods of time
About you
- You must have reception experience (veterinary or medical will be highly regarded)
- You must have a passion for cats (not negotiable)
- You must have some experience and be familiar with practice management software (or be someone who can learn quickly)
- You are highly organised and can lead the litter, ensuring their reception area runs purrfectly
- You are experienced and comfortable working autonomously always one step ahead to support the team
- You are a confident communicator, and pride yourself on your natural bubbly nature, quickly building trust with clients and their beloved feline friends
- You love that no two days will be the same and are a jack of all trades
- You are a great listener with the ability to collaborate, cooperate and compromise
- People are drawn to you for your warm, engaging communication style – even when conversations are tough
- You like opportunities to have regular feedback from your employer so you can grow….and learn more about cats
- You have a great sense of humour – to help keep up the team spirit on the days when things are tough
- You are motivated, focused, passionate and assertive – but know when to ask for help
