Position: Veterinary Receptionist
Are you passionate about pets and providing outstanding customer service? Doncaster Vet Hospital is looking for a friendly, organised, and dedicated receptionist to be the welcoming face of our clinic, helping us to provide the highest standard of care for animals.
About Us: We’re committed to providing excellenct veterinary surgical and medical care for our client’s family pets. Our state-of-the-art clinic is equipped to enable specialized care for our patients ensuring they receive the best possible treatment for their health.
Your Role: As the first point of contact, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our clients' experiences. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Greeting and assisting clients and their pets with a warm, reassuring smile.
- Managing appointment schedules to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Handling phone enquiries with professionalism and care.
- Processing payments and managing patient records with attention to detail.
- Assisting in maintaining a clean and welcoming clinic environment.
- Must be available for a range of shifts including: days, evenings and some Saturday shifts.
We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a reception role (veterinary clinic experience is a plus but not required).
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for working with animals and people.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A compassionate and patient-oriented approach.
Intermediate computer skills for scheduling and data management.
