Good Maintenance is a trade services business operating across Greater Brisbane and Metropolitan Melbourne.
Good Maintenance focuses on reactive maintenance – providing electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and general maintenance services. Our core focus is on the residential space.
Our admin team needs to stay on their toes as our operations and technical teams react to urgent maintenance as it arises throughout the day.
This role would suit an energetic administrator with a friendly vibe - someone who has good attention to detail, enjoys interacting with customers, and is highly organised. You'll oversee our first points of contact (email etc.), assisting customers directly or directing their questions to the appropriate operations person. You will also assist our Account team with basic accounts admin.
The Role
This is a new role that has come about due to the recent growth within our business. Currently, customer communication and front office administration have been shared responsibilities across our team of Schedulers and Customer Managers. However, with work volume increasing, we need to allow our other admin crew to focus on their primary roles and bring someone in (hopefully you) to take over reception duties.
Working under the leadership of our National Manager, you will require excellent communication skills, be a problem solver, and have a strong focus on ogranisation.
While experience in maintenance, trade, property, real estate or account administration work would be advantageous, it is not essential.
You will be ultimately accountable for:
- Company central communication
- Device ordering/management/set up (iPhones etc.)
- Technology issue triage and escalation
- Lodgment and follow up of warranty enquiries (liaising with suppliers)
- Uniform ordering and monitoring of stock
- General overflow support/cover for scheduling team
- Supplier invoice management
- Preparation of invoices for approval and payment
- End-of-month supplier statement reconciliations
