Overview
The Records Management Coordinator is responsible for providing specialist expertise over all corporate and client Records Management functions within BHFLHN. The incumbent facilitates the adoption of effective Records Management and Information Management practices within the region by providing an advisory and management service to records users and ensuring clients and users of the corporate Records Management system receive adequate information and training support for both maintenance and usage of the systems. The incumbent ensures that all records are sentenced in accordance with State Records disposal criteria prior to destruction or archival and manages the maintenance of the Records Disposal Schedule. In addition, the incumbent provides leadership, specialist expertise, systems support and knowledge over the management of all corporate and medical records across the LHN ensuring a consistent and coordinated approach is developed at all sites across the BHFLHN.
