This exciting Government organisation is currently looking for a Records Manager to join their existing team. This role is a critical part of the records projects that has been running for the last 4 years. This role is based in Penrith with WFH options. Initially a 4-month contract with strong potential to extend.
Your new role
As a Senior Record management Officer, you will have vast experience across technology, policy, and procedures to commission staff. You will have an expert understanding of the Objective document management system.
You will have extensive experience managing record activities in accordance with agreed service delivery standards. You will have previously worked in a senior position and will be able to supervise the records management staff, monitoring their roles and responsibilities.
What you'll need to succeed
- At least 6 years’ experience in a records management role
- Strong understanding of the Objective document management system
- Strong experience in developing and delivering employee training modules or programs.
- Strong experience in procurement across a range of goods and services and complexity.
- Strong experience or strong knowledge and ability to respond to information access enquiries and applications (GIPA, SO52 and Privacy).
- Strong experience or deep knowledge in developing business continuity frameworks.
- Strong Information management, records management experience
- Strong supervising experience
- Knowledge and experience in analysis, administration and improvement of records and document management systems
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills (internal & external)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
