We currently have a full time position available for an experienced Recruitment and HR Assistantto join our well-established team in Kalgoorlie.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles, helping managers find, hire, and retain quality candidates.
- Foster high-touch relationships using a database of qualified candidates to choose from when positions become open.
- Assist P&C manager and partner with other senior managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruitment strategies. and international sourcing coordinator.
- Manage end to end recruitment activities such as police clearance, medical booking, reference check, relocation, new starter onboarding documentation exchange, personnel folder set up/maintenance, liaison with various departments, induct and assist new starters to settle in new positions.
- Set up and maintain employee records/file and HR database ensure the most up to date employee information is recorded in share points, database and employee related system such as simPro, Xero and Safety culture comprehensively and accurately according to statutory requirements and internal procedures.
- Prepare performance KPI reports and any other related data input, collation, and coordination tasks.
- Conduct the end-to-end process of site access and induction, ensuring timely and accurate processing for all employees.
- Manage and update records for Drug & Alcohol Screening (DAS), Medical examinations, and National Police Clearances (NPC) to meet both internal and site-specific compliance standards.
- Coordinate employee training activities and maintain training records, aligned with performance improvement requirement, site-specific training requirements, employee’s position requirement and career development plan.
- Assist with employee exit and offboarding administrative tasks.
- Other departmental HR generalist and administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Current Australian C-Class Drivers Licence
- Minimum year 12 completion
- Human resources or psychology related tertiary education (favourable)
Experience
- Previous experience on a similar role with 2-3 years minimum experience
- Mining and associated industry experience is desirable

- Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel and other HRIS applications
